Frequently Asked Questions
Who is it for?
Hypnotherapy is a gentle yet effective approach to remove the root of our problems. If conventional methods or they didn't work, RTT® is for you. If you are unsure what lies beneath your struggles but had enough of trying to solve them alone, RTT® can offer you the answers and clarity you need. If you want to accelerate your self-improvement and finally get to your goals, RTT® can help you make that happen.
How does RTT® work?
RTT® works by accessing the subconscious mind to find the origin of the issue, the root cause of why we may feel stuck. In hypnosis we can bypass the chattering mind and can replace harming and unhealthy beliefs to life-assuring and supportive new thoughts and habits. It is perfectly tailored to your needs as it uses the power of your subconscious mind. You can view it as creating a manual to your own mind and life.
Can I really see changes after only 1-3 sessions?
Yes, you will experience changes after the session, because the cause of the block you want removed will be transformed.
There are 3 ways of changes that you can look out for: immediate change; accumulated change, when it's improving over time and it adds up; and retroactive change, when you look back and you realise that you have changed and things are different.

Are online sessions as effective as in-person sessions?
They are equally as effective because I am guiding you along the hypnosis process and this is exactly what I would do in person. It doesn't require physical attendance as I am using my words to get you into hypnosis. You will experience all this in the comfort of your own home so it may even add to your experience.
It's important to note, that I will need to be able to see you to observe and facilitate your session effectively.
Are you qualified to do this?

Can hypnotherapy help with perimenopause symptoms?
Yes, and often in ways people don't expect. Perimenopause isn't just physical, and support for it shouldn't be either.
Hypnotherapy works on three levels simultaneously. Physically, it can help reduce the intensity of symptoms like hot flashes, sleep disruption, and fatigue by calming the stress response that amplifies them. Mentally and emotionally, it addresses the anxiety, mood shifts, confidence erosion, and long-buried patterns that hormonal transition tends to bring to the surface. And at a lifestyle level, it helps rewire the subconscious habits and beliefs that have been working against you — making it easier to build the routines, boundaries, and self-care practices that actually support this new chapter.
What does the process actually look like?
We start with a consultation — a 45-60 minute conversation where we explore what's keeping you stuck, what you want to feel instead, and whether RTT is the right fit for you. There's no pressure, just clarity.

If you decide to go ahead, a full RTT session runs approximately 2 hours. Afterwards you'll receive a personalised audio recording to listen to for 21 days, which deepens and anchors the transformation over time.

All sessions are held via a secure online platform, so I work with women across Australia and internationally. Evening sessions are available.
Will I be unconscious or lose control during hypnosis?
No. You remain aware and in control throughout the entire session. Hypnosis is simply a deeply relaxed, focused state — similar to being absorbed in a book or daydream. You can speak, move, and come out of it at any time.
Can everybody be hypnotised?
Most people can experience hypnosis, and it's far more familiar than you might think.
Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state, closer to daydreaming than anything mysterious or theatrical. You've already experienced it countless times: that floaty feeling just before you fall asleep, getting lost in a good book, or arriving at your destination without remembering the drive. Even scrolling through your phone can induce a light trance state.

So when you settle in for a session, it's likely going to feel quite familiar. All that's needed is a willingness to relax and follow simple guidance. The deeper you allow yourself to go, the more powerful the results.
What is Rapid Transformational Therapy®?
It's a therapeutic innovation that was developed by Marisa Peer over 30 years. The combination of Hypnotherapy, NLP, CBT and Psychotherapy and Neuroscience brings powerful results in just 1 to 3 session (See a 6-min Youtube explainer here).

RTT® offers a multidimensional approach to get to the bottom of the issues and to reframe and replace beliefs and thought patterns. Recoding the brain's neural pathways is key to healing physical, emotional, and psychological issues. Each session offers rapid and lasting results through deep intensive inner work.
